Seriously, if I'm to be a successful freelance writer, I need to get a better hold on this whole self-promotion thing. You wouldn't know it to listen to me talk, but I really don't enjoy tooting my own horn -- and I really DO like it when other people toot my horn for me. (This is veering off into weird territory...)
I need to do better. If I want to keep getting fun and interesting jobs, I need to do better. If I want to avoid needing side hustles, which means going back to hospitality or ride-sharing or date entry or some such nonsense...I NEED TO DO BETTER.
Hopefully, doing better starts here.
